Last December, I held a composition survey and asked my listeners what they would like composed. Many responses were recorded, and the majority voted for a "thoughtful" duet in the "neo-classical" style for piano and flute (and, I admit, it was a bit of a challenge to compose a piece that fit all these criteria). The result is "Hiraeth", a piece based loosely on a Celtic theme, that opens with a piano solo and continues to the soaring melody for flute. I hope you all enjoy!
